Dr. Linda Kaye Walters is an Assistant Professor and Director of the School of Nursing at Indiana State University. She completed her Associate's degree at Indiana State University. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Nursing online at University of Phoenix. Before returning to Indiana State University, her alma mater, she spent 10 years practicing in various aspects of nursing, finding her true love in maternal child care and teaching health promotion. Linda completed her Master's in Nursing Education and her Doctorate in Education at Indiana State University. Linda's primary research areas are simulation and its affects on student progression, student progression, and techniques used to increase NCLEX-RN pass rates. While not teaching, Linda enjoys boating, camping, and relaxing with family.
